Evolution Tower

Info: The Evolution Tower is a skyscraper located on the Presnenskaya Embankment of Moskva river, part of the Moscow International Business Center in Russia. Construction of the tower began in 2011 and was completed in late 2014. The 246-meter tall Tower was designed by British architect Tony Kettle (Kettle Collective) and Scottish artist Prof Karen Forbes (University of Edinburgh). The multi-function center is 2.5 hectares in area, 2 hectare of which is a terrace landscaped civic plaza. The civic plaza includes a 10-metre tall ceremonial stairs (leading from Bagration Bridge to the higher levels) as well as landscaped areas with lawns, trees, water features, travelators and lightboxes. Under the piazza levels the 2-story mall connects the Evolution Tower with the metro station and a bridge over Moskva river. In 2016, Transneft bought the Evolution Tower for $1 Billion.
