Balut - a developing bird embryo

Popis: Balut is a fertilized duck egg in which the embryo has developed. The chef waits for about 2 weeks, allowing the egg shell to appear more translucent and check if the embryo has matured. Usually the fetus has partially developed bones, beak and feathers. The soft bones give the embryo a crisp consistency. The fertilized egg is bathed in the juices in the shell, which can be drained or drank. You can enjoy Balut in the Philippines and can also find it in Laos, Cambodia, Korea or Vietnam. If you are not sure how to consume it properly, check out the video tutorial.

Adresa: Balut Eggspress, Taguig, Metro Manila, Filipíny. Ground Floor, Fiesta Market, Market! Market!, 25th Street, corner C5, Taguig, 1634 Metro Manila, Filipíny
