Palais Rasumofsky

Description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palais_Rasumofsky

Descripcion foto: The Rasumofsky Palace was built in 1806 as a garden palace for the Russian envoy Count (later Prince) Andrei Kirillovich Razumovsky, who lived in the palace until his death in 1836 at the age of 84. On New Year's Eve 1814, the prince held a glittering ball with Tsar Alexander I as guest of honour. Probably the only person in Vienna who was invited but did not go, was Ludwig van Beethoven. From 1873 the palace became state property. It was damaged during WWII and repaired between 1946 and 1951.
