Descripcion foto: The temples dedicated to Janus, Spes, and Juno Sospita were built in the Forum Holitorium, the "Market of the Vegetable Sellers". The Temple of Janus was built by Gaius Duilius at the time of the First Punic War. The Temple of Spes was built by Aulus Atilius Calatinus, at the time of the First Punic War as well. The temple of Juno Sospita was built around 195 BC by Gaius Cornelius Cethegus, and it was the largest and tallest of the three.
