Descripcion foto: The Théâtre de l’Ambigu-Comique (Theatre of the Comic-Ambiguity) was built on the Boulevard Saint-Martin at its intersection with the rue de Bondy after a previous one (located on the Boulevard du Temple) was destroyed by fire. During the 19th Century its grand spectacles, dramas, melodramas, "pièces de boulevard" and vaudeville shows were very succesful. It was demolished in 1966.
