Descripcion foto: The French Revolution of 1830 was a second French Revolution that led to the overthrow of King Charles X, the French Bourbon monarch, and the ascent of his cousin Louis Philippe, Duke of Orléans. It is known as the 'Trois Glorieuses' ("Three Glorious [Days]"), as it took part from the 26 to the 29 July 1830. Heavy fights happened around the city between the insurgents and the troops sent by the King, forcing the King and his family to flee Paris. 163 soldiers died in the ranks of the army and 504 among the insurgents.
