Descripcion foto: The first church was built from 1210 to 1212. On January 10, 1608, according to the French memoirist Pierre de l'Estoile, it was so cold inside the church that the Mass wine froze in the chalice, and "we had to go get a stove to melt it". During the French Revolution, it served as a temple of Reason and a revolutionary club. Sold in 1797, it was gradually demolished between 1800 and 1808. The land was sold in 1809 to the City, which turned it into a square, called Place Saint-André-des-Arts.
