Description: The memorial of the Czech resistance 1939 - 1945 is in the former Petschk Palace. During the war, there was the headquarters of the Gestapo in Bohemia. Thousands of Czech anti-fascists were interrogated and tortured here. All areas in the basement were renovated in 1985 as the Memorial of the Czech Resistance with a permanent exhibition.
