Description: One of Petřín's best playgrounds for mixed ages, just a few minutes from the lower funicular station. Its large size gives children plenty to explore. There is a large sandpit with equipment for younger children, swings, a small roundabout, climbing frames and a climbing web for older children. Parents can enjoy benches, shade under the trees and space for a picnic. It can get very busy in good weather, especially in the morning and after school. Around midday is usually quieter. Practical information: • A few minutes from the lower Petřín funicular station • Nearest tram stops: Újezd or Hellichova • Suitable for younger and older children • Fenced • Good for a picnic or a longer stop during a walk on Petřín Continue to the viewpoint by the Our Lady of Exile statue for views of Prague and a family photo.
