Description: Veterans Memorial Park 15 West Vine Tooele, Utah Access: 24/7 This beautiful Veterans Memorial Park was established on May 30th 2005 and has kept adding various memorials since its inception. The most recent additions include “Proud,” an 18’ bronze sculpture by Tooele resident Dan Snarr. Proud is the first sculpture of its kind to address veteran suicide and will raise awareness to this growing problem. Another addition is “Seek On,” a beautiful Vietnam Veteran Memorial statue by Marvin Hitesman, another Tooele City resident. It was placed on May 21, 2020 and honors the combat tracker teams in the Vietnam conflict who were instrumental in searching for the elusive enemy, obtaining critical intelligence, and retrieving captured friendlies. Instructions: Take a photo similar to the one attached, with rider flag and motorcycle. A second photo may be required for location and/or safety reasons. Refer to Rules 6-8 (https://bit.ly/3m7BRWv) for photo verification. Scorers have final say whether standards are met.
