At the Hendersonville Memorial Park, a First Responder and 9/11 memorial was dedicated on 27 October 2020. The stone pedestal supports asection of steel from the World Trade Towers and is dedicated to those that serve and to the 343 Brother Firefighters that gave their lives. “The Resolve of our Great Nation is being tested, but make no mistake, we will show the world we will pass this test. The United State will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts.” - President George W. Bush. To the left is a vertical stone engraved with “Service Above Self.” To the right, dedicated, “In honor of our valiant first responders from the grateful citizens of Hendersonville.” Made in America: A popular stop in Hendersonville is the final resting place of Johnny and June Carter Cash. Their memorial can be found at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, 353 Johnny Cash Parkway. Instructions: Take a photo similar to the one attached, with rider flag and motorcycle.
