Description: Veterans Monument 1619 E Commercial Ave. Anaconda, Montana Access: 24/7 Located at the east end of Anaconda on MT 1, this monument honors all veterans from the Anaconda area. Pictured in the background is the Anaconda Stack, signifying the reason the town was founded as a smelter for the copper mined in nearby Butte. Made in America: MT Hwy 1 from Anaconda to Drummond is designated as the Pintler Veteran's Memorial Scenic Highway and is a marvelous alternative to I90. Historic Philipsburg also has a lot to offer. Instructions: Take a photo similar to the one attached along with rider flag and motorcycle. A second photo may be required for location and/or safety reasons.
