The Veterans Memorial Park was a four year project for the city of Boomer and dedicated in 2008. The bell was given in memorial of Pvt Grant O’Connell, a World War I veteran, and serves the purpose of allowing visitors a way to honor veterans. Give it a ring when you’re there.
