In a reminder that we have been in the Middle East for more than two decades, the memorial notes its start in 1990 and leaves its conclusion date blank. As we ponder the sacrifices made in these wars, we can only hope that the peaceful end is near in Middle East conflicts and the memorial can have its final date engraved.
