Description: Des Peres Park is a city park spanning about 43 acres. Although small, Des Peres Park is a popular park for many reasons. The park includes a large playground, many benches, a church, and a large pond which is a popular spot for fishing. The water of this park includes catfish, bluegill, bass, and goldfish; as well as toads, frogs, and turtles. There is also a diverse array of water plants such as lily pads, cattails, and duckweeds.
