Description: Giles Road Trail - This would be a large project involving many utility relocations, signs, signals, and power boxes to be replaced. It would also require a large amount of retaining walls and possibly new inlets along Giles. It would connect the new trails on 84th Street, Applewood Creek Trail (with Project 17 - Stairs) but could be a spine for all of La Vista. It would be similar to the Blondo Street Trail in Omaha (2 foot stamped pattern, 10 foot wide concrete trail) and would connect at the west side to the West Giles Road bikeway (separated trail) and ultimately to the South Papio Trail. It could extend to the east and make a connection west to 66th Street.
