Description: Lane really wanted to go to Standford after all of his tuberculosis is gone. His parents are both teachers and they strive for Lane to be successful in school, he has a lot of pressure to be top student and this is detrimental to his health. After going to Latham, he realizes that he doesn’t have to spend most of his time studying for school and actually do fun things with his time because he doesn’t know if he will ever get to hangout with his friends.
