Description: This conservation area of 133 acres in Saint Louis county is located along Interstate 270 in Castle Point. Most of the land in this area is grassland, with some forest and fishing ponds. The conservation has been governed by the Missouri Department of Conservation since 1995 due to its special urban fishing opportunities. There are opportunities for bird watching, fishing, photography, and wildlife viewing between sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset.
