Description: Urban Harvest STL, made in 2011, builds the sense of community through inclusive and reliable local food practices. The organization believes in food rights, meaning that all members of our community should have the same access to fresh food regardless of race, location, or income. There are 7 main farms throughout Saint Louis that grow healthy produce for Urban Harvest Saint Louis, with the most going to nonprofit partners serving various communities. The Saint Patrick Center and Flance Early Learning Center (for the school garden & cafeteria food) are the main points of distribution.
