The Date Map Project

Story: Walking home from Flow festival, around 2AM. I walk past a man on the crosswalk, and he says something. I can't hear what. I turn around and we walk back towards each other. He's very cute and seems embarrassed. We're standing on the middle of the crosswalk. He looks at me for what feels like forever, constantly on the verge of saying something, but not actually saying anything. He doesn't seem very drunk. He asks for my name, I tell him. He tells me his name. We shake hands. It seems to relax him. ”.. Would you like to .... go somewhere ... and make out?” He looks vulnerable and it's really endearing. I would like to say yes. I say ”No, I don't think I can”. He says ok, and we walk our separate ways.
