O mně: I am a junior researcher excited by structural mass spectrometry in the context of modern integrative structural biology and its applications to understanding the structure and function of viruses and other complex biochemical systems. Since my PhD, I have acquired experience as a mass spectrometrist with broad expertise in structural MS techniques with primary focus on hydrogen/deuterium mass spectrometry as well as native mass spectrometry of protein complexes. Further since my postdoctoral stay with Prof. Charlotte Uetrecht in Hamburg, I have been deeply involved in MS instrument modifications and their coupling to X-ray free electron lasers and synchrotron advanced light sources as well as lab-based lasers.
