Popis: The Rothmayer Hall is part of the Prague Castle's representative premises, which are open to the public only on special occasions. Usually on the first Saturday after 8 May and 28 October. The peculiarity is the distinctive penultimate modifications that Otto Rothmayer took care of in 1948-57 - mainly three rows of windows above one another. Rothmayer was also behind the Plečnik's design of the wooden ceiling. From later rebuildings, shortening the room and adding a dressing room and marble floor from 1972-76 are of the greatest importance. The statue of T. G. Masaryk made of white marble, placed here was crafted by Jan Štursa in 1991. Rothmayerův Sál je součástí reprezentačních prostor Pražského hradu, které se otevírají pro veřejnost jen při slavnostních příležitostech. Obvykle v první sobotu po 8. květnu a 28. říjnu. Zvláštností jsou výrazné předposlední úpravy, o které se v letech 1948-57 postaral architekt Otto Rothmayer. Jedná se hlavně o tři řady oken nad sebou. Tento tvůrce stál taky za počátkem realizace Plečnikova návrhu dřevěného stropu. Z pozdějších zásahů má největší význam zkrácení místnosti a její doplnění o šatnu a mramorovou podlahu z let 1972-76. Sochu T. G. Masaryka z bílého mramoru, umístěnou sem v roce 1991 zhotovil v roce 1921 Jan Štursa.. V hale nam byla zima, přesto, že ven bylo přes 30 stupňů. Nejprve to bylo prijemne, ale po hodině jsme si uz museli dat svetrik. Hala je krasna, úžasné výhledy.. Umístění filmu Mission Impossible: Phantom Protocol.
